Cruise Baltic's online training course exceeds expectations

Cruise Baltic's online training course exceeds expectations
UK-based online training provider OTT (Online Travel Training) reports for the month of May 2015, network Cruise Baltic is ranked 2nd highest in its official statistics of the most popular online training courses, which it operates for global clients.

In total, 363 travel agents have accessed and passed the Cruise Baltic online training course, launched this April. Only American Airlines’ platform ranks higher in its performance than Cruise Baltic’s course, accessible at cruisebaltictraining.com.

Claus Bødker, Cruise Baltic director said, 'We are delighted with these results. Each of the 363 travel agents, having now completed the training modules, receive a diploma and become certified Cruise Baltic experts. By providing the agents with comprehensive training, they will greatly assist us in our aim of supporting the cruise lines which deploy ships in the Baltic Sea; and reflects our commitment to securing increased cruise business in our diverse region of the world.'

The course provides travel agents worldwide with the necessary knowledge and tools to increase their sales of Baltic cruises. At the same time, they will be able to provide their clients comprehensive product information, combining details of the Baltic destinations and attractions, together with recommended hotel and airline services. The programme includes sales materials and quick facts on attractions and shore excursions for each destination.

Cruise Baltic network, founded in 2004 with 12 destinations, has now grown in 2015 to 27 destinations.
