The 2km long parade ended with an international celebration at Stavanger Concert Hall, with food, entertainment and speeches.

For the first time ever, Port of Stavanger hosted four cruise ships on Constitution Day. Crew members and over 5,000 passengers from Viking Sky, Balmoral, Koningsdam and Saga Sapphire were in town.

They got a rare oportunity to take part in different festivities in the city center.

The parade was organised by DMC of Norway and City of Stavanger.

'Stavanger has before had only occational cruise calls on Constitution day, but never before as many as four,' Anders Bang-Andersen director of cruise development Stavanger told Seatrade Cruise News.
