Norwegian Cruise Line completed the expansion of its Cruise Norwegian app across its 16-ship fleet.

One-time fee of $9.95

When used on board and connected to a ship’s Wi-Fi network, the app enables passengers to make reservations, book last-minute excursions, view ship activities, send messages and make unlimited on-board calls for a one-time fee of $9.95 per person.

Passengers can also make outbound calls to nearly every country in the world starting at 79 cents per minute.

Before disembarkation, app users can track and review their purchases and get information including immigration and Easy Walk-off details. Information about Norwegian's 'Cruise Next' program is available for those who wish to book a future cruise while still on board, and Latitudes Rewards members (NCL loyalists) can review their points and learn about on-board tier benefits.

Additonal language roll-outs planned

Launched in October 2017 on Norwegian Sky, the Cruise Norwegian app is currently available in English with additional language roll-outs to follow.

The app is one component of 'Cruise Freedom,' the company’s technology platform aimed at enhancing the guest experience from booking to disembarkation.
