Situated in the Friesland area of Holland which has been recognised by the Lonely Planet Guide as being in the top three regions of Europe to visit this year, Cruise Port Harlingen accommodates ships of up to 160mtr in length.

Certified as an ECO Port by ESPO, Harlingen has just welcomed Star Breeze and other cruise lines due to visit include Ponant, Noble Caledonia, Plantours and FTI.

In August it will also host the Tall Ships Races which are next due in Harlingen in 2022.

Following the opening of its new berth and terminal in March this year, Harlingen has activated a new website offering port and shoreside information for cruise line planners as well as options for independent guests and has created a video showing a drone’s eye view of the town and port on a typically sunny day.
