Currently responsible for the company's sales center in Tallinn, Estonia, where he manages more than 200 local team members and another 30 globally, Moledo will return to the US to contribute to the company's commercial growth strategy, effective Feb. 1.
After nearly a dozen years with Hurtigruten, his deep understanding of its shoreside and shipboard operations make him uniquely qualified to develop and implement sales support, quality assurance and internal training programs, according to Hurtigruten Americas president William Harber.
Moledo will 'strengthen support for our trade partners and ensure our agents are well taken care of throughout the booking process,' Harber added.
Moledo is charged with supporting travel agent and tour operator sales across the US, Canada and Latin America.
'It will be exciting to work with the US team and be part of the expansion plans for such a key region for growth,' Moledo said.
His more than 25 years of experience includes 18 years in the cruise industry. Before the job in Tallinn, Moledo held positions with Hurtigruten in Oslo and New York. Earlier he served as director of sales & reservations at Luxury Cruise Center, passenger services manager at Oceania Cruises and group sales & service manager at Royal Caribbean International.
