Crystal sales veteran Donna Cook moves up to vp quality control and communications
Crystal Cruises promoted Donna Cook, director of sales for western US and Canada, to vp quality control and communications, and named Rolando Trejos Jr. as its new vp revenue management.

Cook, a 12-year Crystal veteran, will be responsible for overseeing the on-board guest experience and operational developments, and serve as liaison between operations, sales and marketing and the shipboard hotel management team to ensure alignment of communications. She will continue to work from Crystal’s corporate office in Los Angeles and report directly to Thomas Mazloum, chief operating officer.

'Donna’s experience in hotel operations, on-board guest services, quality assurance, marketing and sales made her the ideal candidate for this critical position in increasing our organization’s efficiency,' Crystal president and ceo Edie Rodriguez said. 'Her passion for the Crystal experience will be a huge asset to our operations team and ensures a seamless transition in further enhancing the product for our current and future guests.'

Trejos joins Crystal to take responsibility for the oversight of product strategy, financial planning and maximizing revenue growth. He will based in the Miami branch office and report directly to Donald Mason, svp finance and accounting.

'Rolando’s expertise in financial services across multiple industries will bring fresh insight and innovative strategy to our revenue management team,' Rodriguez said.

Trejos has held various financial management positions, and most recently was director of revenue management at Interval International in Miami. There he managed a global team of analysts and managers and oversaw the department’s financial strategy and planning.
