Tom Wolber, president and CEO of Crystal Cruises, will host line’s annual President’s Cruise, to be held in July aboard Crystal Serenity.

The 'Vineyards and Vistas' voyage sails July 29 from London to Monte Carlo on a 14-day journey through the winelands and coastal countryside of Western Europe, and will feature special events and activities hosted by Wolber and his wife Sharon. Passengers can attend a presentation by Wolber about what's on the horizon for Crystal, special receptions and dinners throughout the sailing, and a hosted shore excursion in Barcelona.

'The President’s Cruise is a Crystal tradition I very much look forward to, as it is one of the best opportunities for me to connect with guests who have long loved the brand, as well as those who may be sailing with us for the first time,' Wolber said.

Wine and culinary immersion

The cruise sails the coast of France with two overnights in Bordeaux and one night each in Lisbon and Barcelona, allowing travelers to immerse themselves in the rich wine and culinary culture found in the destinations. Crystal excursions further underscore this, with opportunities to visit famed wineries at Médoc and St-Emilion, cooking classes and winemaking instruction in Bordeaux, port tasting in Lisbon and an exploration of traditional tapas in Barcelona.

Dozens of other excursions cater to a host of varied interests beyond the glass and table, from an off-road adventure on Portugal’s Sintra Mountain to the castle gardens and manors of Guernsey.

The cruise will also be a dedicated Crystal Society sailing. Fares start at $5,585 per person, double occupancy.
