Cunard's Queen Elizabeth will host the CLIA Summit at Sea 2017
Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), announced its 2017 Summit at Sea, an event for executive partners and member lines, is taking place from May 9-12 aboard Cunard's Queen Elizabeth sailing from Hamburg to Southampton.

Before embarking in Hamburg, attendees will receive an exclusive tour of the Airbus Factory producing some of the Emirates A380 aircraft and Carnival Maritime's fleet operations centre, followed by a welcome reception and dinner at the Penthouse Elb-Panorama.

In Hamburg and once onboard, Carnival UK chairman, David Dingle will join other senior cruise industry leaders to engage in business discussions on key topics facing the cruise industry today, including an exclusive discussion lead by CLIA cruise line member presidents.

'I am delighted that Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth has been chosen to host the 2017 CLIA Summit at Sea,' said Cunard svp, Simon Palethorpe.

While onboard, the more than 150 attendees will also have access to behind-the-scenes tours, networking opportunities and social functions before the cruise docks in Southampton.

'Ensuring that our community works together toward the same industry goal is key to our success, and that is why coming together at events like our Summit at Sea is so important,' said Bo Larsen, svp strategic partnerships, CLIA.
