Darius Mehta, a member of the start-up team at The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, has retired. He was VP cruise reservations, land and air.

Mehta opened the reservations departments in Coconut Grove, Florida, and in Malta. He was heavily involved in itinerary planning, and he developed the shore excursions, air and hotel programs.

Angela Composto assumes oversight

The departments he led are now reporting to Angela Composto, VP sales and marketing.

Prior to joining Ritz-Carlton, Mehta had provided consulting for Silversea Cruises and the start-up Anteros Cruises after previously leading air and land programs as VP at Silversea for a number of years. Earlier, Mehta directed land programs at Regent Seven Seas Cruises.
