Superheroes and villains from the Marvel Comics will appear during a Marvel Day at Sea on seven Disney Magic voyages in fall 2017. The cruises sail from New York.

Once per cruise the all-day entertainment includes interactions with Marvel characters like Spider-Man, Captain America and Thor, and a deck party with music, dancing and games that culminates in pryotechnics, lighting and sound effects.

Marvel-themed games, activities and arts and crafts will be offered throughout the day in Marvel’s Avengers Academy in the Oceaneer Club.

There will be special merchandise and themed food and beverages, too.

Also featured are film screenings including the newest theatrical releases, as well as the Disney XD shows 'Marvel’s Avengers Assemble,' 'Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man' and 'Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy.'

Marvel Day at Sea will be on seven- and eight-night Bahamas cruises departing Oct. 6, 14 and 28, and Nov. 4, 11 and 18. All include a stop at Castaway Cay and Port Canaveral, with a day at the Walt Disney World Resort. Marvel Day at Sea will be on one seven-night Canada cruise departing from New York on Oct. 21, with stops at Charlottetown, Sydney and Halifax.
