The band will perform 'Cake by the Ocean' and other hits at a concert leading up to the total solar eclipse
Multi-platinum selling band DNCE will return to Royal Caribbean International for a performance aboard Oasis of the Seas' 'Total Eclipse Cruise.'

On Aug. 21, DNCE will headline the solar eclipse viewing party with a surprise guest.

Royal Caribbean is promising the vantage point of the century when Oasis of the Seas positions itself along the eclipse’s path of totality where the moon completely masks the sun for a few minutes of full darkness.

Building up to this, DNCE frontman Joe Jonas and bandmates including bassist and keyboardist Cole Whittle, guitarist JinJoo and drummer Jack Lawless will perform hits like 'Kissing Strangers,' 'Body Moves' and 'Cake by the Ocean.'

Passengers booked on the 'Total Eclipse Cruise' can visit Royal Caribbean’s website to reserve their complimentary seats for the concert by logging on to their reservation.

The viewing party will last far into the night, long after the moon eclipses the sun, creating social media-worthy moments for what is predicted to be one of the most trending topics of 2017.

The seven-night cruise will sail Aug. 20 from Port Canaveral to St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Nassau.

DNCE performed aboard Harmony of the Seas' 'Ultimate Friendsgiving' last November.
