Representatives marketing El Ferrol(Spain), St Petersburg(Russia) and Ventspils(Latvia) were chosen by a panel of judges as the top three presentations in the Why Cruise to My Port or Destination 90 seconds exhibitor workshop challenge held on the final day at Seatrade Europe 2017.

Representatives from 18 ports and destinations from across the world were selected to present their product inside 90 seconds using just one slide and addressing a panel of judges that included Federico Bartoli, itinerary planning director, revenue management & transportation, Costa Crociere; Paul Britton, marine operations manager, Disney Cruise Line; Liz Gammon, principal, Lizgammon.com and Olga Piqueras, md, Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services.

Several guest judges from the audience also joined in the fun and interactive session.

The cruise line and tour experts gave feedback on the pitches and presentations on what worked for them and what they are looking for from ports and destinations to entice them to consider adding to an itinerary or for creating enticing shorex.
