Europa 2's mystery acrobatic cruise

Europa 2's mystery acrobatic cruise
Guests on Europa 2's May 14-24, 2016 cruise from Istanbul to Piraeus will vote on where to sail and what ports to call. The only fixed ports on the itinerary are the ports of departure and arrival.

In addition, the Hapag-Lloyd Cruises vessel will host the first international circus arts festival on-board the voyage and German jazz and pop musician Roger Cicero will be performing live.

Christian van Zwamen, captain of Europa 2, will present guests with a list of potential routes and ports, and point out which locations will be the sunniest over the coming days. A lecturer will describe the highlights of the potential destinations.

The guests will then vote to determine their route across Greece and Turkey. There are 20 destinations in the eastern Mediterranean to choose from, including Limenas, Kavala, Samos and Mykonos.

Six circus performers will perfrom acrobatics in the on-board theatre on Deck 4. The panel of judges consisting of Nina Burri (contortionist), Fafa (clown), Oropax (chaotic theatre duo) and Peter Shub (clown and director) will join the audience in choosing the best acrobat at twocompetition evenings, with Cicero as patron.

The cruise-only price starts from £ 3,600 per person, until February 29, 2016.
