A family amusement park; a dozen dining spots, from Eataly to an American-style steak house; a multipurpose media studio; and an aft pool that transforms into a dance venue by night are among MSC Meraviglia features in a new video.

Among its 78 accommodations, the ship's triple-deck MSC Yacht Club will offer duplex suites, with a double bed upstairs and space to entertain downstairs plus an ample, 560-square-foot balcony with a whirlpool tub.

These features join the previously announced purpose-built Cirque du Soleil dinner theater and a 315-foot indoor promenade lined with shops, bars and restaurants, and topped with an immense LED dome 'sky.'

This promenade will house the chocolate atelier in partnership with top French chocolatier Jean-Philippe Maury, where patrons can watch the pastry chefs in action. At night, the promenade will come alive with parades, parties, music and entertainment.

In the glass-enclosed Carousel Lounge, home to Cirque du Soleil, two shows will be performed six nights a week, with dinner service available for 100 of the 450 patrons.

The new multipurpose media studio will serve as a comedy club, karaoke bar, live music venue and television studio to air games, talent shows, quizzes and interviews on screens around the ship.

For the first time on MSC Cruises, all family, children's and teen facilities are grouped together in a super amusement park spanning two decks. This area includes the DOREMI Studio Lounge for family activities, DOREMI Tech Lab and clubs designed in partnership with LEGO and Chicco. An indoor sports center will transform into a party space in the evening.

A full-sized, sea-view bowling alley, American-style sports bar and two F-1 simulators round out the amusement park attractions. One deck up, MSC Meraviglia's Aqua Park features four action-packed water slides, a splash pool and champagne bowl, plus a Himalayan Bridge ropes course.

Modular-design family accommodations connect up to three staterooms to sleep 10 people.

Besides the authentic contemporary Italian dishes at Eataly, MSC Meraviglia will reprise the line's Kaito Sushi Bar and introduce a Kaito Teppanyaki Restaurant next door. The new American-style steak house will serve craft beers and bold, New World wines.

The ship's buffet will be open 20 hours a day and offer Mediterranean specialties and international cuisines, with corners highlighting dishes related to the itinerary and healthy choices.

Three large outdoor pools include an aft pool that transforms into a dance venue under the stars.

MSC Meraviglia is being built at STX France and is scheduled to begin its inaugural season of Western Mediterranean cruises on June 4, 2017.
