Jason Malteis - a record of generating sales through social media and executing digital media strategies
Carnival Corp. & plc's new Fathom brand appointed a former Norwegian Cruise Line manager, Jason Maltais, as East Coast senior sales lead to work with travel agents and group travel planners.

Maltais is responsible for marketing and business development supporting the brand that is pioneering the new category of social impact travel. He reports to David Drier, vp sales for Fathom.

'Jason’s experience in leading large scale initiatives, driving innovation and ability to take a strategic vision and executing on that vision will play a pivotal role in strengthening Fathom’s position as an industry leader,' said Tara Russell, president of Fathom and global impact lead for Carnival Corp.

She added that Maltais has a record of generating sales through social media and executing a wide array of digital media strategies—expertise 'invaluable when reaching out to millennials, one of Fathom’s core target audiences.'

At Norwegian Maltais was a program manager responsible for helping maximize revenue from online travel agencies and providing strategic and tactical direction. Earlier he served as an account executive at Royal Caribbean, where he created and executed marketing initiatives and projects while managing marketing and incentive budgets.

'It’s a privilege to work with a company founded on the sincere belief that the person-to-person connection is among the strongest catalysts for transformation. I am eager to serve travel professionals as they welcome their clients to embark on a transformative journey,' Maltais said.
