Princess Cruises' newest ship will join the line's 2019/20 Caribbean program following its debut and launch in the Mediterranean. Sky Princess will start Caribbean cruises in December 2019 with a three-day inaugural sailing from Fort Lauderdale, followed by a series of seven-day eastern and western Caribbean voyages.

This fourth Royal-class ship will depart Port Everglades Dec. 4, 2019, visiting Princess Cays, before beginning alternating weekly eastern and western Caribbean routes, Dec. 7, 2019, to April 4, 2020. Voyages offer late-night stays during every visit to St. Thomas and Cozumel.

New Sky Suites will have exclusive view

The line also disclosed the first new Sky Princess feature: Sky Suites will be the largest staterooms on the ship, with 270-degree views from high up and an exclusive vantage point for the Movies Under the Stars screen.

The Sky Suites will be the first Princess staterooms to accommodate up to five people, and will offer the largest balconies in the fleet. More details to come in the months ahead.

Five ships will operate 119 departures of 10 itineraries. In addition to Sky Princess, they are Caribbean Princess, Crown Princess, Pacific Princess and Regal Princess.

More time in St. Thomas and Cozumel

Regal Princess also will offer eastern and western Caribbean voyages from Port Everglades with 'More Ashore' stays in St. Thomas and Cozumel.

Longer and more destination-rich itineraries to the southern Caribbean will be available on Caribbean Princess and Crown Princess, featuring 10- or 14-day cruises.

Calls to the recently enhanced Princess Cays will be featured on every seven-day eastern Caribbean voyage, and select western and 10-day southern Caribbean voyages.

A 14-day holiday cruise aboard Pacific Princess will call at the southern Caribbean island Mayreau for the first time.
