It will be a 10-minute ferry trip between White Bay and King Street Wharf
Captain Cook Cruises will commence a ferry service between White Bay Cruise Terminal and King Street Wharf on November 4 which will run every 15 to 20 minutes on cruise ship arrival and departure days during the 2016-17 wave season.

King Street Wharf is a waterfront restaurant and tourist precinct within walking distance of Sydney’s Central Business District.

It replaces Circular Quay as the pick-up, drop-off point that was used when the service was introduced in November last year.

Anthony Haworth, gm of Captain Cook Cruises, said last year’s first direct ferry service to and from the city for cruise ship passengers and crew was a huge success, with more than 1,000 bookings in the first week of operations.

Captain Cook Cruises, owned by SeaLink Travel Group, will again use its Australian-built A$57m mobile passenger terminal pontoon for transfers at the White Bay Cruise Terminal.

The one-way trip will take 10 minutes and costs A$9.
