New Brunswick's Port Saint John wrapped a cruise season that included a dozen double-ship days and five triple ship days in September and October.

TUI Cruises called for the first time, with Mein Schiff 6, and Royal Caribbean International's Vision of the Seas was another new visitor.

Anthem of the Seas became the largest cruise ship ever to visit, and made four calls. Disney Magic visited twice.

The passenger count edged up to 147,736 in 2017 from 143,926 in 2016, while there were 64 calls, one more than last year.

As earlier reported, cruising's economic impact in New Brunswick grew to $49.9m in 2016, a 20% increase from the $41.5m in 2015.
