The Hobart Global Marine team—known as a leader for its equipment, solutions and programs in warewash on board cruise ships—will collaborate with Elro AG, Switzerland, and concentrate the marine business. Elro is a noted manufacturer of cooking equipment with an equally strong reputation in the cruise industry.
Both brands have been part of the ITW Food Equipment Group, which facilitates their ability to now offer a coordinated approach with a single face to the customer for sales activities, while continuing to support project management, after sales and service within their own structures.
Elro will benefit by utilizing the Hobart Global Marine worldwide organization, such as its service team and parts supply chain solutions, to address the various cruise industry needs. Together the two manufacturers supply almost 100% of the cruise industry.
Dennis Firchau, business unit manager, Hobart Global Marine and long-term expert in the cruise business, takes on additional responsibility for Elro.
The two companies are jointly exhibiting at Seatrade Cruise Global this week, at Booth 928.
