Forecasted winds delay Quantum of the Seas conveyance
Due to forecasted strong winds, the conveyance of Quantum of the Seas along the Ems River to the sea has been postponed and will start no earlier than Monday evening, Meyer Werft said.

A decision about the schedule is expected Monday at noon.

The Royal Caribbean International ship originally was scheduled to depart the Papenburg harbor at approximately 2 p.m. Sunday, then delayed for an indefinite time due to external conditions.

Quantum's transit to Eemshaven, Netherlands, on the North Sea, will be broadcast live on Meyer Werft's webcam.
