Genting Dream conveyance set to start Sunday afternoon

Genting Dream's conveyance from Meyer Werft in Papenburg along the Ems River to the North Seas is planned to begin Sunday afternoon.

Dream Cruises' newbuild is scheduled to depart the yard at 1:30 p.m. local time, passing the yard's lock at 2 p.m., Weener's Friesen Bridge at about 8 p.m., then Leer's Jann Berghaus Bridge at about 10:15 p.m.

Genting Dream should transit the Ems barrier at Gandersum around 3 a.m. Monday, and arrive at Emden half an hour later.

Arrival at Eemshaven, Netherlands, on the North Sea is expected at 6 p.m. Monday.

The schedule is subject to wind and weather conditions, as well as water levels.

Following sea trials, Genting Dream will dock at the Columbus Cruise Center, Bremerhaven, before being handed over to Dream Cruises in mid-October.
