For the next few days Global Ports Holding will continue to match donations for its Global Run initiative (that involved the sponsorship of the 2019 Barcelona Half Marathon last Sunday) to benefit Mercy Ships.

Life-changing surgeries

The world's largest civilian hospital ship, Africa Mercy, is currently in Conakry, Guinea, providing life-changing surgeries, free of charge, to people who lack first-rate medical care. Everyone on board, from the captain to the nurses, is a volunteer.

A donation of €30, for example, can help provide sight-restoring eye surgery.

Global Ports Holdings' matching challenge to benefit Mercy Ships will be available until Feb. 17.

Donations can be made here.
