Grand Bahama Shipyard beefs up international sales team
Grand Bahama Shipyard hired a trio of regional sales directors with posts in the Americas, Europe and Asia/Middle East.

Andre Szadzinski, regional sales director, Americas, joined with responsibility for North and South America. Earlier he worked for Remontowa Holding as the commercial area director for the Americas and, for three years, Asia. He managed 12 international sales agents and directed the daily activities of the global ship repair and conversion facility with 1,500 employees and $100m in annual revenue.

Ng Teck Wee, regional sales director, Asia/Middle East, previously spent a dozen years in commercial, finance and projects capacities, representing shipowning and ship management firms in Asia. He has a wide network of shipowners, operators, managers, financiers and service providers in Asia and has worked on large transactions ranging from fundraising to consulting projects.

Brent Richardson, regional sales director, Europe, brings more than 15 years of experience in the maritime industry. During 13 years with Wilhelmsen Ships Service, he worked in different roles in the sales and marketing departments, most recently as key account manager and sales director, responsible for $350m in annual revenue.

All three regional sales directors started at Grand Bahama Shipyard in August.
