Tere Moana will operate published sailings through May 14, 2016
Paul Gauguin Cruises sold the 88-passenger Tere Moana to Grand Circle Travel. Paul Gauguin said it will continue operating all scheduled voyages on the ship through May 14, 2016, without change to the service, operations, itineraries or staffing.

A company spokeswoman said the price was not being disclosed.

'It’s hard to part with the Tere Moana,' said Richard Bailey, chairman and ceo of Paul Gauguin Cruises. 'But we received an attractive offer to purchase the vessel and decided to take this opportunity to refocus in our home territory of French Polynesia and provide an even higher level of service to the award-winning operations of the Paul Gauguin cruise ship and our renowned South Pacific cruises.'

Tere Moana enabled Paul Gauguin to branch out with itineraries in Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe.

The company had acquired the ship in 2012. It previously sailed for Ponant as Le Levant.
