HAL's Noordam, Veendam ace USPH inspections
Holland America Line’s Noordam and Veendam achieved perfect 100 scores during recent US Public Health inspections while Veendam earned a 99 on an inspection conducted by Health Canada.

Veendam’s USPH inspection was held Aug. 29 during a turn-around call at Boston, while the Health Canada inspection was July 21 at Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, during a seven-day Canada/New England cruise.

Noordam’s inspection was also conducted July 21, while the ship was at Skagway, Alaska, during a seven-day cruise round-trip from Vancouver, BC. Prior to that inspection, Noordam had received a perfect 100 in January during a call at Florida's Port Everglades.

Also this year, Eurodam achieved its eighth consecutive USPH score of 100, Statendam received its third consecutive 100, and Nieuw Amsterdam, Ryndam, Zuiderdam and Westerdam also chalked up perfect scores.

Eight Holland America ships have received a total of 17 perfect scores in 2015.
