Holland America veteran joins Hurtigruten as VP sales for the Americas

Christine Stevens will lead the sales organization, including field sales and national accounts
Christine Stevens, who spent the past 13 years at Holland America Line, was appointed Hurtigruten's VP sales for the Americas, based in the company's Seattle regional headquarters.

Stevens brings three decades of cruise industry expertise and will lead the sales organization, including field sales and national accounts.

Angel Moledo continues to work with tour operators

Angel Moledo, VP customer sales & service, continues to be responsible for tour operator partners.

In addition, Hurtigruten hired two regional sales managers, for the US Northeast and Northwest.

Stevens most recently served as senior director of field sales for Holland America Line, where she played an instrumental role in redesigning the sales team to exceed projected revenue goals.

She began her cruise industry career in 1987 as district sales manager for Carnival Cruise Line.

Seasoned sales leader

As we continue to foster and grow our strategic accounts, Stevens’ extensive experience and relationships in the cruise industry will further position Hurtigruten as the leading expedition cruise line,' Hurtigruten Americas president William Harber said.

Stevens is tasked with driving additional revenue growth, identifying new client opportunities, leading and managing the sales team, and representing Hurtigruten at national and regional trade shows, events and seminars.

New regional sales directors Mimma Waters and Kelli Ann Mills

Hurtigruten also welcomed Mimma Waters, Northwest sales director, and Kelli Ann Mills, Northeast sales director, for the Americas. Waters is a 20-year cruise industry veteran who most recently was a business development director at Carnival Cruise Line. Mills has 16 years of travel industry experience, owning her own agency and at brands such as Liberty Travel.

The appointment of these professionals strengthens the Hurtigruten Americas sales team that also includes Rolf Logan, sales director, South; Eric Bacon, business development manager, Southwest; and Linda Heckman, business development manager, Midwest.
