Hurtigruten kicks off five-day Norway sale in US
During a five-day sale, Feb. 2-6, Hurtigruten is offering US travelers up to 35% off April to June sailings of the Norwegian Coastal Voyage.

Fares are reduced on the six-, seven-, 11- and 12-day Classic Coastal Voyage on all sailings for those three months. Savings of up to $1,065 per person are available. This capacity-controlled special is for new bookings only and applies to the voyage fares.

Examples of savings include the 'Classic Round Trip,' 12 days, priced at $2,214 compared to $3,279. 'Norwegian Discovery, 11 days, is available for $2,070 instead of $3,065. And the fare for 'Classic Voyage North,' seven days, is reduced to $1,458 from $2,159, while 'Classic Voyage South,' six days, is $1,332 instead of $1,972.

These special fares can be combined with all other promotions except the April and single waiver promotions.

Hurtigruten said spring is a very special time in Norway as life begins anew after the long winter nights. Passengers travel through three seasons during the same voyage—the spring and summer climates of the southern portion and the winter wonderland of the Arctic.

April can veer between the crispness of the winter to warmer moments when summer is clearly around the corner. May is the start of the flowering and wildlife coming back into the forefront and the celebration of Norway’s national day, the May 17 Constitution Day. June signals the start of summer activities, from hiking to ATV safaris along the Russian border.
