CLIA Australasia & Asia md Joel Katz said tickets for CLIA LIVE, a two-day presentation by leading local and international cruise line representatives for Cruise Lines International Association-accredited agents, are selling fast.

The first event of this kind in the region is being held on April 18-19 at the InterContinental Sydney.

Katz said the lineup of operators from 26 ocean and river cruise companies will each give a short summary of their product and its unique selling points.

‘We’re very excited about this new event on the cruise calendar,’ he said.

CLIA LIVE is designed to keep CLIA members ‘in the know’ and provide them ‘with an edge’ to selling cruises, noted Katz.

On April 18 participating cruise lines are Aurora Expeditions, Azamara Club Cruises, Carnival Cruise Line, Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, Norwegian Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Ponant Yacht Cruises and Expeditions, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Windstar Cruises and Tauck River Cruises.

On April 19 the participating companies are APT, Avalon Waterways, Celestyal Cruises, Crystal Cruises, Cunard, Dream Cruises, P&O Cruises Australia, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, Star Cruises, Silversea Cruises and the Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection.
