Intercruises Shoreside & Port Services is strengthening its team in Italy with the appointments of Eleonora Prata as National Manager Italy and Marinella Megaro as Port Agency Manager Italy.

Over the last two years, Intercruises has seen significant growth across Italy, prompting the development of additional teams in various destinations, such as Sardinia and the Amalfi Coast.

Naples turnaround

Additionally, Intercruises has introduced a new selection of concept tours to the Italian market, combining wellness-focused itineraries with exclusive onboard treatments.

‘Italy is a very exciting destination for Intercruises and having our own teams on the ground in various locations provides a huge advantage in terms of consistency and service quality. Eleonora and Marinella have been pivotal in driving the growth of our business in Italy and I look forward to seeing this continue under their leadership,’ said Olga Piqueras, Managing Director.

Based at the Intercruises office in Rome, Prata will lead the Intercruises team in Italy, overseeing the implementation of new operational processes, product/destination development and service delivery for turnaround and shore excursion operations.

She joined Intercruises in 2014 and previously held the role of Operations & Product Development Manager, focusing on Intercruises’ shore excursions in Italy. Prata has over fifteen years’ of cruise industry experience, including ten years in onboard roles.
