Diego Ramirez is general manager of the Fort Lauderdale office
The International Registries Inc./Marshall Islands Registry relocated and expanded its Fort Lauderdale office. The new location will accommodate the tremendous growth the Marshall Islands maritime and corporate registries have experienced in recent years and allow for further expansion.

The Fort Lauderdale office is led by Diego Ramirez, general manager. Fourteeen employees are currently located there.

The IRI/Marshall Islands Registry opened a Fort Lauderdale office in 2000 to better serve a broad base of clients in Florida, the Caribbean and Latin America. It is one of 27 worldwide offices.

The new location is close to Port Everglades for ease of access and support to industry stakeholders. Like all IRI offices it has the ability to register a vessel or yacht, including those under construction, record a mortgage or financing charter, incorporate a company, issue seafarer documentation and service clientele.

An open house is planned in the near future.

The address is IRI/Marshall Islands Registry, Portside Yacht Center, Suite 300, 1850 S.E. 17th Street, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Tel: +1-954-763-7775. Fax: +1-954-763-7445.
