Three-vessel growth spurt in 2019
She joins AmaWaterways as it prepares to introduce three vessels in 2019, its most ever in a year. One of those, the Danube's AmaMagna, will be twice the width of traditional European river vessels. Also joining are AmaMora, sister of AmaLea and AmaKristina, which will sail the Rhine, and AmaDouro, sister of AmaVida, on the Douro.
Kristin Karst, EVP and co-owner of AmaWaterways, said there are many new opportunities for Bava and the marketing team to explore 'that will enable us to introduce even more multigenerational families and active cruisers to our special brand of river cruising.'
Roberto Castro takes on Silversea duties
At Silversea, Roberto Castro, senior director of marketing for the Americas, is handling Bava's previous duties.
