In a note to travel partners, MSC Cruises USA president Roberto Fusaro said Muskat has been 'instrumental in driving MSC's expansion in the US market' over the last 3.5 years.
'Ken has been a tremendous asset to the company and we are extremely fortunate to have benefited from his industry expertise and leadership,' Fusaro said.
Muskat has been highly visible working with the trade, leading educational seminars across the country, promoting and training agents on a new booking engine, MSC Book; introducing programs like EZ Groups and numerous other efforts. He was involved in the introduction of MSC Divina to the North American market and has been talking up MSC's future ships, including MSC Seaside, which will join MSC Divina sailing from PortMiami.
At MSC, Muskat has overseen sales, public relations and guest services. He's also chaired Cruise Lines International Association's Trade Relations Committee.
'While Ken will be missed greatly here at MSC Cruises, he leaves behind a strong team that will continue to ensure that MSC Cruises is the easiest and most profitable cruise line to do business with,' Fusaro told trade partners. He added the company is developing a transition plan.
