KTO says there have been no additional MERS cases in Korea since July 4.
According to the Ministry of Health and Welfare, 186 people have been infected so far, with the number of infected people remaining unchanged over the past 18 days.
Under World Health Organisation rules, declaration of the end to an outbreak of MERS can be made 28 days after the last patient is completely recovered.
