Laura Vlad leaving Intercruises

Laura Vlad, head of Amercas at Intercruises, is leaving  to pursue other opportunities. In addition to her current responsibilities, Olga Piqueras, managing director, will assume responsibility for Intercruises in the Americas, working together with Vlad on the transition.

Piqueras will be closely supported by the Intercruises Global Platform, a group of industry experts that works with all teams to reinforce quality standards and strengthen client relationships. Intercruises teams in all other regions will continue to receive ongoing support from her and the Global Platform, the company said.

Vlad joined Intercruises in 2009 as regional director Asia, overseeing 13 countries. After five years in Asia, she briefly held a global product development role before moving to Miami to lead Intercruises in North America.

Jordi Cerdó, managing director, Destination Services, a business unit within the Hotelbeds Group (of which Intercruises is part), thanked Vlad for her hard work, commitment and loyalty to the organization and commended her 'tireless efforts in working together with the North America team to ensure the best possible quality of service delivery to cruise lines and their guests.'
