For the first sailing from its new home, Port Everglades, Harmony of the Seas on Saturday was fêted with an adventurous take on the traditional flotilla send-off.

A team of 16 jetboard and jetpack riders from the Aquafly Hydroflight Sports Performance Team escorted Royal Caribbean International's newest ship out to sea, all the while performing extraordinary stunts.

The world's largest cruise ship joins sisters Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas on the east coast of Florida. Previously based at Port Everglades, Oasis of the Seas also began sailing from its new home, Port Canaveral, on Saturday, while Allure of the Seas continues to cruise from Port Everglades.

Harmony of the Seas will be operating short inaugural cruises for the next week. The ship's official naming is set for Nov. 10.

Harmony's regular year-round schedule will include seven-night eastern and western Caribbean itineraries.
