Majestic Princess made a maiden call in Penang, Malaysia on Friday, the first stop in south-east Asia on her 49-day voyage from Rome to Shanghai.

Princess Cruises' newest ship, designed for the China market, sailed from Colombo and is enroute to Port Klang and Singapore, before heading to North Asia.

Penang’s historic capital city of Georgetown is an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
