Maiden voyage Copenhagen to Southampton
The nine-day maiden voyage from Copenhagen to Southampton on Aug. 31 visits Kiel, Gothenburg, Oslo, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge and Le Havre.
A 14-day trans-Atlantic crossing from Southampton to New York on Sept. 9 stops at Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Funchal (Madeira) and Ponta Delgada (Azores).
Two New York sailings
A six-day cruise round-trip from New York to Portland, Maine, and Saint John, New Brunswick, departs Sept. 24.
A 15-day 'Carnival Journeys' voyage from New York on Sept. 30 positions the ship in its year-round homeport, Florida's Canaveral.
En route Mardi Gras will call Amber Cove, San Juan, St. Thomas, St. Maarten, St. Kitts, Aruba, Curaçao and Grand Turk.
Port Canaveral itineraries
Following a special eight-day Caribbean cruise from Port Canaveral on Oct. 16, Mardi Gras will kick off its seven-day program from the Space Coast Oct. 24, offering two different three-port itineraries.
The Eastern Caribbean cruises will visit San Juan, Amber Cove and Grand Turk. Western Caribbean sailings will stop at Cozumel, Costa Maya and Mahogany Bay (Roatán).
More suites
Travelers can choose from more than 20 stateroom categories and multiple levels of spacious and luxurious suites, more than on any other Carnival ship. Special areas of accommodations include Family Harbor, Havana Cabana and Cloud 9 Spa staterooms and suites.
Carnival is beginning to release some of the new stateroom designs to customers and travel agents today and plans to share additional details over the coming weeks.
