Marking 20th year, Un-Cruise Adventures has offers, give-aways
Un-Cruise Adventures marks 20 years of small ship cruising in Alaska, British Columbia, coastal Washington, the Columbia and Snake rivers, Hawaii and Mexico in 2016. New this year, the line begins operating in the Galápagos, Costa Rica and Panama.

The Seattle-based company began business as American Safari Cruises with one yacht in 1996 before changing its name to Un-Cruise Adventures in 2013 after significant growth. Over the course of five years beginning in 2009, the fleet expanded from three yachts carrying 12 to 26 passengers to eight ships carrying 22 to 88 passengers and doubled its destinations from four to eight.

In appreciation of travel agent support, the company is giving away a weeklong cruise to a travel professional each quarter.

Four free cruises for two will be awarded. Every agent with a booking made between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31 is automatically entered. A random drawing will be held each quarter. Each FIT or group booking counts as one entry and each quarter will feature a different cruise prize with the first quarter giving away an Alaska cruise. After that, cruises will be awarded to Costa Rica/Panama, Mexico and the Columbia and Snake rivers.

Details are available in the travel agent portal at un-cruise.com.

Anniversary perks and offers include new chairman’s theme cruises with a company owner and leader, a celebratory toast and anniversary dessert extravaganza aboard every trip in 2016, two cruise giveaways through an essay contest beginning Feb. 26 and limited edition 20th anniversary logo gear aboard the ships.

A donation to Tourism Cares for each passenger visit to Glacier Bay National Park will honor the centennial of the US National Parks Service.

And 20th anniversary savings will be available on select cruise dates throughout year.
