McRoberts Maritime Security taps Access Cruise for sales support

Access Cruise has been contracted to provide strategic sales support to the cruise industry for McRoberts Maritime Security. Both companies are based in Miami.

Access principal Shannon McKee, a cruise industry veteran with wide contacts, will serve as a partner to McRoberts as the security firm redefines its offerings while maintaining a commitment to quality and maximum value creation for clients, said Meredith McRoberts, president of McRoberts Maritime Security.

McRoberts' dedication to best practices, training, innovation and technology set them apart, according to McKee. She said Access Cruise will work with McRoberts to present cost-effective, innovative and integrated maritime security services and technologies to the cruise industry.

McRoberts provides regulatory compliant, integrated security solutions for port facilities, cruise lines, cargo ships and terminals.

Under one roof, the company offers consulting services including Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 and International Ship and Port Facility Security compliant security plans, assessments, drills, exercises and third-party security plan audits. Further services include maritime security officers, maritime security screeners, TSOs and FSOs, screening equipment and security technologies including RFID and Wi-Fi-based access control and asset tracking solutions, IP-based video surveillance and cyber security solutions.

McRoberts also writes software to integrate and customize solutions.
