Genting Dream has capacity for about 4,500 passengers in 1,674 cabins. Approximately 75% of the accommodations are ocean-view and most of those have a balcony. The crew numbers around 1,700 to offer a high standard of service.
There are 35 restaurants and bars, and the Dream Mansion ship within a ship with 142 suites, butlers, a private pool and spa area. Multiple lounges and casinos, deluxe karaoke rooms, a mahjong lounge and the first Zouk nightclub at sea, with indoor-outdoor dancing and lounging space, are among the entertainment venues.
Genting Dream sports a large spa with Asian and Western treatments and the first magnetic resonance tomography machine aboard a cruise ship.
A pair of four-passenger submarines can take people to a depth of up to 200 metres. Water slides, a climbing wall and bowling lanes are among the activities.
According to Meyer Werft, more environmentally friendly marine engines, diesel-electric pod drives, improved hydrodynamics and numerous energy-saving measures, heat recovery and ballast water cleaning all contribute to a 'greener' ship and considerably reduced operating costs.
