Middle East cruising under the spotlight in Oman
Key issues impacting the development of the Arabian Gulf’s cruise industry are to come under the spotlight at the Seatrade Middle East Cruise Forum in Muscat, Oman from December 9-10, 2014.

The Forum, organised by Seatrade and hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, Sultanate of Oman, will feature a summit session attended by regional ministers, tourism authorities, port and immigration officials.

A welcome address will be made by HE Maitha Al Mahrooqi, Undersecretary, Ministry of Tourism, Sultanate of Oman.

A conference for the summit attendees plus ship agents, airlines, destination management companies and other cruise industry stakeholders will take place on the second day and will include an address from Khalid Al Zadjali, Director of Tourism Events, Ministry of Tourism, Sultanate of Oman.

As part of the Forum, the Ministry of Tourism will host 12 cruise line executives from brands including Costa; Crystal Cruises; Cunard; Holland America Line; MSC Cruises; Noble Caledonia; P&O Cruises; Princess Cruises; Royal Caribbean International; Seabourn; Silversea; and TUI Cruises.

The Forum will also include a workshop session where each of the hosted cruise line executives will meet officials from participating destinations.
