Adam Snitzer - looks forward to helping the company achieve its growth objectives in North America
Adam Snitzer, a seasoned executive who's worked for Seabourn, Costa, Cunard, Norwegian Cruise Line and Royal Caribbean, joined MSC Cruises as svp guest services for North America.

He replaces Jim Henwood, who is retiring.

Snitzer will be responsible for overseeing the North American travel agent and consumer call centers, group operations, customer service and revenue management.

'We are thrilled to welcome Adam to the MSC Cruises family,' said Roberto Fusaro, president, MSC Cruises USA. He noted that as the company grows, with plans for 11 new ships between this June and 2026, MSC will strategically expand its presence in North America

Snitzer's skills and experience will be 'instrumental as we bring new ships to the US and our ambitious growth plans come to fruition,' Fusaro added.

Most recently Snitzer led Peak Revenue Performance, an international consulting firm specializing in the travel business.

'MSC Cruises has been one of my biggest consulting clients and I’m excited to have an even deeper impact,' Snitzer said, adding that he looks forward to playing a key role in helping the company achieve its growth objectives in North America.

Before launching Peak Revenue Performance in Miami Beach, Snitzer was vp marketing at Seabourn in Miami, from 2007 to 2011, a period when the brand tripled capacity. Earlier, as vp revenue management for Costa Crociere in Genoa, he adapted North American techniques to fit the commercial and cultural practices of the European giant.

Before that Snitzer worked on special projects including brand synergies at Carnival Corp., following four years as chief revenue officer at Cunard Line. Earlier, he was vp revenue management at Norwegian Cruise Line.

Snitzer started in the cruise industry with Royal Caribbean in 1995, where he worked for then vp Brian Rice as a director of revenue management. He was also involved in the merger and integration of Celebrity Cruises following its acquisition by Royal Caribbean.

He began his career at American Express in IT, analysis and new business development, where he made significant advancements to the customer contact centers and loyalty programs.

Next month at Seatrade Cruise Global, Snitzer is scheduled to moderate two sessions: 'Operational Information Management and Big Data' on March 14 and 'What's Next in Sales and Marketing: How Can the Cruise Business Learn from Other Sectors of the Travel Industry?' on March 16.
