MSX to supply British beers across the P&O Cruises fleet
Macintyre Scott Xtra, one of the UK travel retail industry’s longest-serving suppliers of bonded warehousing services is supplying Sharp’s Brewery’s Doom Bar, from Cornwall, and Orchard Pig, a farm-pressed cider from Somerset, across the P&O Cruises’ fleet.

The contract to supply eight ships follows on from its successful introduction on Britannia earlier this year.

The P&O Cruises fleet – Britannia, Aurora, Azura, Oceana, Ventura, Arcadia, Oriana and Adonia – has a total passenger capacity of 14,970.

MSX supplied a selection of British beers and gins for Britannia including Langley’s No.8 Gin, Tanqueray, Hendrick’s, Old Thumper and Titanic Quarter Beer.

MSX managing director, Nicola Ridges-Jones, said: ‘it is an absolute honour to supply into P&O Cruises, especially with the new additions of Doom Bar and Orchard Pig. Supplying to cruise ships is a specialist job, with the turnaround times at port being so tight and we’re proud that our previous work for Britannia has resulted in us being appointed.’
