Norwegian Breakaway is expected back in New York on Sunday, as scheduled
With Tropical Storm José causing dangerous surf and rip currents along much of the US East Coast, Norwegian Cruise Line slightly modified Norwegian Breakaway's current Bermuda itinerary.

To avoid the storm's path, the ship will sail a longer route back to New York on the current cruise that embarked Sept. 17. Norwegian Breakaway is spending two days in Bermuda and will depart a day early, at 6 p.m. Thursday.

The ship is to arrive back in New York on Sunday, as scheduled.

The Boston-based Norwegian Dawn is sailing as scheduled and will return to Boston on Friday.
