NCL designates a second newbuild for China market

A second ship will be customized for China, following this year's Norwegian Joy, pictured
Norwegian Cruise Line's newbuild scheduled for delivery in fourth quarter 2019 will be designated for the China market as a sister of Norwegian Joy, Frank Del Rio disclosed Wednesday.

Del Rio, president and ceo, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, said the decision was based on the strong market interest in Norwegian Joy, which will enter service from Shanghai in late June this year.

The 164,600gt ships are being built at Meyer Werft.
