Passengers sailing from Tampa and New Orleans will have a different ship in each market to choose from next fall. Norwegian Dawn, currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar refurbishment as a part of the 'Norwegian Edge' investment program, will sail seasonally from Tampa and San Juan, and Norwegian Pearl from New Orleans.
Norwegian Dawn will move south next fall and homeport in San Juan from Nov. 12, 2017, to Jan. 7, 2018, offering seven-, 10- and 11-day Southern Caribbean itineraries during the holiday season. Ports include Barbados, Martinique, St. Kitts, St. Maarten and St. Thomas, with varying calls on longer itineraries.
From Jan. 17 to Feb. 7, 2018, Norwegian Dawn will sail from Tampa on two 11-day Eastern Caribbean cruises and one 10-day Western Caribbean cruise, before operating weekly Western Caribbean cruises departing on Sundays from Feb. 18 to April 1, 2018. These sailings will call at Harvest Caye, Belize, the new destination being developed by Norwegian.
New for 2017/18, Norwegian Pearl will offer seven-, eight- and nine-day Western Caribbean cruises from New Orleans, from Oct. 22, 2017, to April 1, 2018. Ports are Cozumel, Roatán, Harvest Caye and Costa Maya, with varying destinations on the longer itineraries that can include Grand Cayman and Santo Tomas de Castilla, Guatemala.
From New York, Norwegian Breakaway will sail to the Bahamas and Florida or the Southern, Eastern and—new for 2018—Western Caribbean in fall and winter 2017/18.
The new Western itinerary includes Great Stirrup Cay (currently undergoing a multimillion-dollar expansion) and Harvest Caye, as well as Ocho Rios, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Roatán.
Plus, Norwegian Breakaway will sail seven-day Bahamas and Florida cruises from October 2017 through April 29, to Port Canaveral, Great Stirrup Cay and Nassau.
The ship sail to the Southern Caribbean on two 14-day cruises, Jan. 5 and Feb. 2, that call at the US Virgin Islands, British Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, Dominica and other destinations. A 12-day Eastern Caribbean cruise on Dec. 3, 2017, visits St. Kitts, Antigua, Tortola and other ports.
The new itineraries go on sale this June 28 for Latitudes Rewards (loyalty) members and travel partners and on June 29 for all customers.
