Alan Wilcock said he looks forward to working alongside valued trade partners in New Zealand
Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has opened a New Zealand office in Auckland to support demand from local passengers.

It has also appointed 25-year industry veteran Alan Wilcock as national sales manager New Zealand for Oceania Cruises and Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

Wilcock most recently worked for World Aviation Systems where he was national sales manager for Virgin Atlantic.

He will work closely with Chris D’Anvers, who is the business development manager for Norwegian Cruise Line in New Zealand and Wendy Collins, the New Zealand business development executive for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, to grow the local market.

Steve Odell, svp and md Asia Pacific for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, said the new office and Wilcock’s appointment demonstrates the company’s solid commitment to the New Zealand market.

‘We’re delighted to welcome Alan on board at such an integral time for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings,’ Odell said. ‘Both the appointment of Mr Wilcock and the establishment of a dedicated New Zealand-based office are important steps forward for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings in the region as we continue to streamline the three brands and expand our teams in line with commercial growth expectations.’
