NCLH selected to join S&P 500

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings has been selected to join the Standard & Poor's 500 Index effective at the open of trading on Oct. 13.

The index tracks 500 widely held stocks and is viewed as a leading indicator of US equities.

The company will be added to the S&P 500 GICS Hotels, Resorts & Cruise Lines Sub-Industry index.
