New Celebrity Cruises brand film unveils true taste of the Caribbean
Celebrity Cruises UK is introducing a Caribbean twist to the second phase of its ‘A Different View’ national brand awareness campaign.

A new brand film was exclusively premiered to travel agents last night in London, a week ahead of it airing on national television.

Featuring real guests and locals, the evocative 90-second brand film – including new footage filmed in the Caribbean island of St Lucia – is the sequel to a 2015 campaign where the Mediterranean came under the spotlight.

The newly captured content includes the beaches, markets and restaurants of St Lucia and was shot in response to guest interest in exotic Caribbean destinations.

The updated brand film will premiere during the first ad break of Channel 4’s Gogglebox on October 7, 2016 as part of an exclusive partnership with the broadcaster. Between then and the end of November, TV and online viewers of Channel 4’s portfolio of channels and on-demand services will enjoy two different 30 second versions of the film.
 
To capture the real spirit of a Celebrity Cruises holiday, all of the film’s content – both the existing and new footage – features real people and no actors or models.

The awareness-building brand film has again been created by multi award-winning photojournalist James Morgan. Shot in cinematic style with sweeping vistas and emotive close-ups, the film is designed to appeal to the senses and to awaken viewers to enjoy a different view of cruising. Elements of the short film were captured using aerial drone filmography.
