Retiring chair Rzymowska said: 'I have had four phenomenal years as chair and I hand over to Lynn confident that the organisation will go on to deliver more great things. The cruise industry has worked together over recent years to focus on delivering greater trade, consumer and media engagement and this has delivered significant benefits including sector growth. The support agents enjoy has also been enhanced and I'm proud to hand over the reins at a time when CLIA is truly going from strength to strength.'

CLIA UK & Ireland Director Andy Harmer  thanked the outgoing chair 'for her contribution to the work of CLIA' and said, 'it's hard to find a more passionate advocate of cruising.  I would also like to welcome Lynn to her new position and with her wealth of experience, we are assured of the continued development of the Association.'

Before dinner, celebrated by 400 of the great and good of UK cruising, Harmer made a special presentation to Rob Ashdown who is soon leaving CLIA Europe for pastures new.
